Mirko Lorenz is a journalist, trainer for data-driven journalism and co-founder of Datawrapper. Since organizing the "Data-driven journalism Roundtable" in Amsterdam 2010, Mirko has been very active in the data-driven journalism community. He contributed to the Data Journalism Handbook, did many trainings with journalists in Germany, Europe and Asia in the past four years. 

Mirko's workshop will cover best practices to find data on a daily basis, to think of stories to tell for reader communities. One aspect of the talk will be a brief how-to for all the visualizations available in Datawrapper by now. Finally he provides an outlook what is to come to Datawrapper in 2017.
